Effective Survey Questions:

When drafting your survey, consider the following in order to create relevant and accurate questions:

Question Intent: Are the questions legible, relevant, painless, etc.?

Good vs. Bad: Keep questions brief, be objective, be specific, and keep it simple. Avoid leading or double- barreled questions!

Question Types: Consider the types of questions to use and when it is appropriate to use them.

Question Sequence: Use easy opening questions and make the survey flow coherently. Place sensitive questions towards the end!

Keep these in mind before adding a random question to your blog or engaging in a survey effort. Your responses will be much more meaningful!
